I'm Jim Prothero, aka Jim or JP, from Beaver Falls, PA and I became a member of the club in early 2008.  I came to this cIub in late 2007, shortly after my wife, Cyn, and I had  acquired a new foundation GSD female for Cyn's 20 year passion for breeding and training quality family German-line GSDs in her von Bahneman Kennel. 

 

This beautiful sable medium sized female named Trixzy is out of Nando vom Bolleplatz and Tina von Steingold Burg at Von Hayden Shepherds breeding program. We think she has the pedigree, looks and temperment to do great things and we knew she deserved the best training we could give her.  Other training regimes we have used just did not challenge the dog or the handler to strive like this club and this sport. We think Schutzhund is the sport for developing the natural talents of these dogs and we have found that this club is the perfect fit with our beliefs about training our dogs.    

 

It is my goal to be the handler my dog deserves and to help her achieve her best by title-ing her as far as possible while I work to understand the training process and enjoy the simple pleasure of the dogs, learning all I can from the animals and other members of the club.
