My name is Debbie Wright, my husband Paul and I got our first German Shepherd Silka in 1992. We were introduced to Schutzhund by Silka’s breeder. In 1993 we got our second German Shepherd, Hans and I began socializing him and later worked with him in all three phases of the sport. Hans and I earned our BH in 1995. Hans was well on his way to Schutzhund I when tragically he died from bloat in 1996. I then competed with V Lork vom Heerbusch SchH III. In 1997 I began working with Fips vom runden Teich (Rocky). We earned our BH through SchH III and FH together. Rocky is retired now and I am exploring my options to get back in the game.
